About This Amazing Biz
OK, so some of you want to know why I got into this biz and why I am suddenly posting webinar links and stuff. Well, I'll be honest, someone showed me this opportunity and immediately, I knew it was for me. Now, not everyone would think that right away. But after years of trying many opportunities, including network marketing, a t-shirt biz, and my jewelry biz, I knew this was different ... especially when I saw the compensation plan. YES, this is Network Marketing. That is one of the reasons I did it. It is the smartest kind of business to be in. I want residual income ... ya know like Elvis' estate still makes after all of these years. I will, of course, work the travel end, too (Group Cruises ..BIG MONEY! lol). I have an amazing travel portal (TravelZonePro.com) and because I am a Certified Travel Agent, I can book directly with the suppliers (Royal Caribbean, Sandals, Disney, etc). The best part is that you get the agent discounts, FAM (familiarization) trips and member trips (MemberTravelDeals.com). I cannot sell products. I have tried. With this, as soon as people hear what I do, they want my card. No one ever asked for anything from me in my other businesses. People are going to travel anyway and when they do, they don't care if they buy from Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity. Those companies are all selling the same product. And so am I.
Now, the rest of the story ... some of you know that I have had a rough time with my post-mono stuff or whatever 'they' want to call it. And while I am very fortunate to have a great job that allows me to work from home, I still have problems sometimes. So, in the event that one day, I need to take a break for a while, or if I get laid off (I work for a 30,000 employee company), I want to be prepared. The travel biz is part time right now and is very flexible, so it works well with my job schedule and my health.
I have seen so many people struggle with the economy. I just want to see people be able to enjoy life more. What's the point of being around if we can't do that? I hate to think of the family who wishes they could provide a better life for their children ... or the person who can't afford a car ... or food ... or even a home. I wish that my musician friends on MySpace could just be musicians. I have a friend who is in Real Estate and going through a divorce. I want him to be ok ... especially the children. There was a man working at a bank and due to his diabetes, he lost his sight. He was fired. He is in this business and is doing an amazing job. A guy named Daryl in Chicago is 27 and retired from his job. A pastor in Iowa quit his job with Wells Fargo and just bought his first new house! And if you don't believe me, we can call them. There are about 50+ people in Traverus who have quit their jobs so far. I am not saying that people need to quit their jobs or not go to school, but wouldn't it be nice to have some options.
OK, I have rambled enough. I just hope that if you are not content with your current situation, you will just take a quick look at this. I do not pressure anyone. I only want to help those that see this as an opportunity for change. If I can help just one person change their life for the better, I will be extremely happy.
